SOURDOUGH
PANCAKE RECIPE
My first sourdough breakfast recipe! Take an old all time favorite, add sourdough and you've made a new crowd favorite (the crowd being your family)! I really like doubling the recipe and freezing them for later. They heat up fast in the microwave or toaster oven and with a little butter and maple syrup drizzled on top, you got an easy, super fast but delicious breakfast for you and your family! Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:

-
1 1/2 cups of Sourdough Starter (fed or unfed)
-
2 large eggs- room temp
-
1 cup milk
-
1/4 cup butter, melted
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 1/2 cups flour (all purpose, bread or whole wheat)
-
1 tsp baking soda
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
1 tsp salt
STEP 1: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, butter, milk, vanilla, and starter until fully combined.
STEP 2: Whisk in the rest of the ingredients, one at a time, flour first, baking soda, baking power and then the salt, stir until fully combined again. The batter will be thin, that's normal but if you prefer your mix thicker, add more flour a 1/4 cup at a time until you reach the desired consistency. If its too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until its to the consistency you are looking for.
STEP 3: Heat griddle or large pan to around 325 or medium heat, spray down with non-stick and pour 1/3 cup of batter onto the grill, repeating until no more room. Cook 2 or so minutes, flip 1-2 more minutes. Repeat until all batter is gone, spraying in between each batch.
That's it folks! Top will all the goodies and enjoy!
